Health and Safety
Nothing is more crucial than the well-being and security of our employees and others in their immediate vicinity. We always operate to the greatest standards of health and safety, from our production facilities to delivery and installation, and we’re proud of our safety record.
We possess Alcumus Safe contractor status and are CHAS advanced accredited. To make sure that all standards are met, and protocols are strictly adhered to, we keep a tight eye on everything we do.
Every one of our workers has a current CSCS card and has received training appropriate to their trade and activity. A skilled supervisor with at least an SSSTS certificate oversees every project. Every site team is trained in PASMA and IPAF, and every supervisor has received first aid training. Always put safety first.

Environment
We have a strong commitment to protecting the environment for both present and future generations. Throughout our whole supply chain, we work to reduce energy use, waste, packaging, noise, and carbon emissions. As a result, we produce a more sustainable product. All of our staff members actively participate in this goal and are motivated to contribute positively to it, upholding this ethos.
At UIS, we exclusively purchase goods and services from companies who share our commitment to environmental preservation.
We can achieve a very low level of waste during manufacture because our goods and methods, which primarily use steel and glass, are highly recyclable and easily segregated. All waste is recycled at the point of manufacture.
We make an effort to use as few harmful materials as possible and, whenever feasible, to substitute safe, environmentally friendly goods.

In line with ISO 9001 and EN 1090, our internal quality management system has been designed to reflect our goals. In our industry, nothing stays the same, therefore we constantly monitor, assess, and modify our systems to meet evolving needs. We have an execution class 2 CE certification, and all related items have the appropriate CE markings.
