What we deliver.
When the steel is the feature, tolerances matter. We fabricate architect-spec metalwork in stainless, brass, and bronze - with PVD-coated finishes as our stated in-house specialism, anchored by the brass-finish balustrade and bearing-guided rotating shelving units we designed, manufactured, and installed at the Botree Hotel for McCue Fit.
The design team sits next to the site team, not across a procurement gap - which is how the Botree PVD brass reads on handover day the way it did in the mock-up.

PVD, brushed, and polished finish range
304/316 stainless in brushed or mirror-polished finishes, PVD-coated stainless in brass, bronze, or copper effects, solid brass and bronze, and powder-coated mild steel to any RAL. PVD is vapour-deposited at molecular thickness - not plated - which is why the Botree brass still looks the way it did on handover day.
BS 6180, 5395, 8300 compliance trio
Balustrade, handrail, and staircase work is detailed against BS 6180 for loading, BS 5395 for stair sizes, and BS 8300 for accessibility - the three standards that covers Approved Document K and Part M compliance. Clause references ship with the UKCA handover pack.

Questions clients ask us.
Yes - PVD is our stated in-house specialism. Brass, bronze, and copper effects are applied to 304 or 316 stainless at molecular thickness, not plated. As an example, the Botree Hotel PVD-coated brass balustrade - fabricated and installed by UIS for McCue Fit - is a project we're really proud of, and it still reads exactly as it did on handover day.
Three. BS 6180 for barrier loading, BS 5395 for stair and step geometry, BS 8300 for accessibility handrails. Together they cover the Approved Document K (guarding) and Part M (accessibility) compliance boundary - and the clause references ship with the UKCA-marked handover pack rather than three weeks after sign-off.
Yes. Tekla modelling, clash detection, revision management, and weekly coordination calls are part of the process. Our commercial team typically sit in on tender-stage scope conversations - the people you speak to are the people making the fabrication and installation decisions.
