Survey & quote
A free site visit anywhere in Edinburgh. Drawings, access and specifications logged. Same-day quote on small domestic structural steelwork enquiries; 1-2 weeks on large commercial tenders with a full take-off.

Design & fabricate
Detailed, fabricated and finished in our own workshop under BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2. QA pack, mill certs and traceability documentation ready before delivery.

Deliver & coordinate
We schedule delivery to your Edinburgh site on our own transport, around your access windows and site programme, not third-party haulage timetables.

Install on site
Directly employed CSCS-carded crew with their own MEWPs. Full RAMS pack, as-built drawings and 12-month defect liability at handover.

One team, from drawing to installed.
Work in Edinburgh is delivered from a single source rather than split across firms. We take the structural drawings, produce fabrication details, and build the beams, columns and connections at our South Yorkshire workshop. Our own teams then come to site to erect the frame in Edinburgh and across the Lothians. One family-run business owns every stage, so responsibility never passes to a subcontractor.

FAQs
Yes. Edinburgh and the Lothians are part of our nationwide service. We design and fabricate your steel at our South Yorkshire workshop to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2, then our directly employed installers come to site to erect it. We take Scottish work on the same terms as anywhere else.
Yes. Much of Edinburgh's commercial work involves altering existing structures, inserting beams to open up floors or support new loads. We design and fabricate the primary and secondary steel for that kind of alteration, then install it ourselves, working carefully around the fabric of the existing building.
We plan it in advance. Historic city-centre plots often have narrow access, limited lay-down space and neighbouring buildings to protect. Before our crews arrive, we work out lifting, delivery timing and steel sequencing so the frame goes up safely without holding up the rest of the site.
Our steelwork is fabricated to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2 and UKCA marked, under an ISO 9001 quality system. We also carry CHAS Elite, SafeContractor and ConstructionLine Gold, which gives an Edinburgh main contractor or client the assurance they need before work starts on site.
Directly employed. We do not subcontract the crews who erect steel in Edinburgh, just as we do not subcontract design or fabrication. Keeping all three in one family-run business means the same people are accountable for your frame from the first drawing to the finished structure.
