The Lace Market's tall brick warehouses keep converting into offices, bars and apartments. We form the mezzanine floors and transfer beams these changes of use demand, threading new steel through frames the original lace trade never loaded this way.

Nottingham and the wider East Midlands are covered as a single source of structural steel. Our own teams design, fabricate and install, so there is no handover to subcontractors partway through. Everything is drawn and fabricated at our South Yorkshire base, then delivered and erected on site by the same firm, all to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2 at about 100 tonnes a month.

We work with contractors and developers on commercial and industrial buildings - warehouses and distribution units, factories, retail and trade units, offices and mezzanine schemes. Packages take in primary and secondary steelwork, portal frames, columns and baseplates, staircases, access platforms and structural alterations.
Lead time comes down to tonnage, drawing sign-off and where you sit in our schedule, and we give a firm programme once those are known. Because we design, fabricate and erect in house, we are not held up waiting on separate suppliers to fit the work in.
Our fabrication meets BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2 and is UKCA marked, run under an ISO 9001 quality system. On top of that we hold CHAS Elite, SafeContractor and ConstructionLine Gold, so Nottingham main contractors get the certification and records they expect with the steel.
