CHAS Elite
The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) was established in 1997 to raise UK health and safety standards. CHAS sets a recognised benchmark for health and safety compliance, helping organisations manage risk and demonstrate responsible operation.
UIS LLP holds CHAS Elite certification - the scheme's highest assessment level - confirming our management of health and safety regulations across the business.
ConstructionLine Gold
ConstructionLine is the UK's largest supply chain management and procurement service for the construction industry. Gold Member status is the highest level of pre-qualification available - going beyond the PAS 91 baseline to cover financial standing, health and safety, equality and diversity, anti-bribery, modern slavery and environmental management.
UIS LLP is a verified ConstructionLine Gold Member. Tier-one contractors and public-sector buyers can procure from us without running a separate pre-qualification process - our credentials are held on file and audited annually.
Alcumus SafeContractor
Alcumus has supported organisations worldwide for over 25 years to achieve and maintain health, safety and compliance standards. Their SafeContractor scheme provides independent verification that contractors meet rigorous health and safety requirements before being engaged on projects.

Cyber Essentials Certified
Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed scheme delivered by IASME on behalf of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). Certification verifies that an organisation has five key technical controls in place to protect against common cyber threats - firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection, and patch management.
UIS LLP is Cyber Essentials certified. Modern construction projects run on shared drawings, BIM data and procurement portals, and client project data is handled on hardware and networks that meet the NCSC baseline.
UKCA Marking
UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking applies to goods placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). It replaced CE marking for products sold in the GB market following the UK's departure from the EU.
UIS carries UKCA marking on applicable steelwork, confirming conformity with the relevant UK product standards. Note: UKCA marking alone does not apply to goods placed on the Northern Ireland market.
