Structural steel fabrication is the workshop stage where a set of drawings becomes real steel - the beams, columns, braces and connections cut, drilled, welded and assembled ready to erect. It sits between the design and the site, and it is where tolerance, traceability and programme are either protected or lost.
We fabricate structural steelwork on our own profiling and welding lines, with directly employed fabricators and coded welders. You can take the steel supply-only, marked and ready for your erector, or have our own site teams install it. Either way one accountable business controls the fabrication from drawing to finished frame, certified to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2 and UKCA marked.

From detailing and profiling to coded welding and trial assembly, fabricated on our own lines to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2.
Fabrication detailing
We turn your engineer's design into shop drawings and CNC data in Tekla, so every cut, hole and weld is set out and checked before a section reaches the saw.
Profiling and cutting
Beams, plates and hollow sections cut to length on CNC saws and plasma, then drilled and coped to the model so parts reach the welding bay ready to fit.
Coded welding
Fabrication and welding to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2 by welders coded to BS EN ISO 9606, with weld procedures and traceability recorded for the handover pack.
Fit-up and assembly
Cleats, end plates, stiffeners and baseplates fitted and welded into beams and columns, with trial assembly of the harder connections in the shop before they reach site.
Fabricated to your programme
Around 100 tonnes a month moves through the workshop, so we set fabrication and delivery dates against your site sequence and hold to them, because one business runs the shop and the site.
Supply-only or supply and install
Take the finished steel supply-only, marked and delivered to your erector, or have our own directly employed crews erect it. The fabrication standard is the same either way.

We keep that stage in our own workshop, on our own profiling and welding lines, with our own coded welders - so the tolerances, the traceability and the programme are ours to answer for, whether you take the steel supply-only or supplied and installed.

Structural steelwork is our whole package - design coordination, fabrication and installation. Structural steel fabrication is specifically the workshop stage, where we cut, drill, weld and assemble your steel. You can take fabrication on its own, supply-only, or as part of a full design-fabricate-install package.
Yes. We fabricate to your drawings and supply the marked, finished steel to site for your own erector, with all certification and material traceability. We can also install it with our own teams if you would rather one business carried both stages.
All structural steel fabrication is carried out to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2 and UKCA marked, under an ISO 9001 quality system. Welding is done by welders coded to BS EN ISO 9606, with weld procedures and material certificates recorded for handover.
Around 100 tonnes a month moves through our workshop. That places us in the mid-range of UK fabricators, comfortable with packages up to roughly a month's throughput. Larger programmes we phase in conversation rather than over-promise.
Yes. We work from your structural engineer's design and can produce the fabrication and shop drawings ourselves in Tekla, or fabricate directly from an approved detailer's model. The structural design stays with your engineer; we fabricate to it.
We fabricate and prepare the steel ready for its specified protective coating. The corrosion-protection treatment is arranged to your specification through our finishing supply chain, then the steel is delivered or installed to your programme.
